LIFE ENCOUNTERS
Experience a short term mission adventure that will change your life and
impact others!
How can I serve God on the mission field? What gift or talent do I have?
In Exodus Moses asked similar questions when chosen by God to lead
Israel out of bondage. The Lord responded “What is that in your hand?”, “My
shepherds staff” Moses responded. A very familiar object, one Moses had used
daily for 40 years. From that moment on, however, God would use this staff
in very uncommon ways to accomplish great things for His kingdom. The LIFE
ENCOUNTERS program gives Christians a short term missions experience using
the gifts and talents that are already “in their hands”. No special training
or knowledge is necessary. The only requirement is a willingness to use what
you already know to serve God in a foreign culture.

CONCEPT: OPEN doors with English. What do we all know and understand?
English. What does the developing world want to know and understand?
English. English is what American Christians “have in their hands” that can
immediately be used by God to open doors in developing countries.
CONCEPT: OPEN doors with needed health care in poor communities. In
partnership with
Community of Blessings you can offer life
through health care outreach to SE Asia by participating in short-term
medical mission trips. Join us in blessing others through your gifts and
talents. Help us help others through healthcare!
STRATEGY: HOLD the door open. English and health care are the tools
that open doors for evangelism. By partnering with Thai national Christians,
you can make an impact that will last for years to come.
The LIFE ENCOUNTERS program needs you to open doors and hold them
open for the Gospel.

Express Encounters: Short Term trips 10-14 Days.
Extreme Encounters: 2-9 months, ideal for college interns and retirees.
